Job summary

Surgery Center of Columbia is seeking a PRN Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse to join our outpatient facility. You will plan, coordinate and deliver nursing care for pre- and post-surgical patients in a high-quality, service-oriented environment.

The role requires an active RN license, ACLS, and strong clinical judgment with excellent communication skills. Weekdays only; no holidays, weekends, or on-call. Competitive compensation and benefits for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• ACLS required.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, organize and coordinate nursing care for pre- or post-surgical patients.
• Deliver high-quality, safe nursing care in accordance with standards of care.
• Monitor patients from infancy to geriatric age and adjust care as needed.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and professional requirements.
• Provide care in a weekday-only schedule with no holidays, weekends, or on-call.
