Job summary

Circle K in Monticello, MN is seeking a full-time store leader to oversee daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure excellent customer service at the Monticello location.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail sales preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train staff.
• Ability to communicate (oral and written) in English.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire and train positive, enthusiastic employees, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Develop, manage and assign tasks to ensure the site is clean, adequately stocked, organized and well kept.
• Maintain a professional and supportive image among staff and supervisor.
• Schedule employees within Company guidelines to maximize customer service and maintain site image.
• Implement non-discriminatory management skills while hiring, training, counseling, motivating and separating employees.
• Develop positive relationships with suppliers and resolve customer complaints.
• Promote and ensure a safe, positive public image within the neighboring community.
• Prepare performance appraisals and provide feedback.
• Train all employees on safety procedures and company standards.
• Develop effective communication for all employees and hold regular meetings.
• Organize and maintain site files and manuals.
• Manage and supervise store employees to ensure reports are completed.
• Ensure merchandise is stocked, displayed and priced correctly.
