Job summary

Fish Pond Surgery Center is hiring a PRN Operating Room Nurse (RN Circulator). The center has 5 OR rooms and a Treatment room, performing outpatient procedures in General, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic, Otolaryngology, Plastics, Podiatry and Urology.

Position requires weekdays only—no holidays, weekends, or call; some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule subject to change. The Circulator provides nursing care during surgery, including patient positioning, prepping,

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center.
• A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

Responsibilities

• Position the patient and prep for surgery.
• Circulate the case during surgery and monitor patient.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety.
