Job summary

ServiceMaster by McCann in Northwest Ohio seeks a reliable custodian to maintain clean, safe facilities for our clients. You will perform daily cleaning tasks using provided products and PPE, contribute to a positive work climate, and support the team with dependable, on-time performance.

This position requires standing, walking, and light lifting up to 25 lbs; training is provided on the job. Schedule is Monday through Friday with weekly pay, and prior janitorial experience is a plus but not

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience as a custodian, janitor, housekeeper a plus but not required
• On-the-job training provided
• Experience with a professional janitorial company is a plus
• Must be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Be dependable and on time
• Respect for co-workers and customers
• Ability to work independently and be quality driven
• Ability to read cleaning instructions
• Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties for facilities using provided products and procedures
• Cleaning duties include sweeping and mopping floors
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
• Use proper PPE where required
• Opens and locks facilities, enable and disable security system as required
