Job summary

Seniors Helping Seniors KC North seeks part-time caregivers to provide non-medical support and companionship to seniors in the Kansas City Northland. As a caregiver with our organization, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and their families.

Responsibilities include helping with daily tasks, light housekeeping and meal prep, engaging clients in conversation and activities, and maintaining care records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 1 year of experience in healthcare or a related field is preferred.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.

Responsibilities

• In Home Caregiver for Weekdays: Provide companionship and support to seniors in their homes, assisting with daily tasks and activities
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and personal care
• Engage in conversation, play games, or watch movies with clients to promote mental and emotional well-being
• Maintain accurate records of client care and services provided
• Collaborate with other caregivers and Care Managers to ensure seamless client support
