Job summary

Professional Care Match is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to support patients in Fairhaven, MA. The role runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with weekly pay and opportunities for professional development.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, providing companionship, monitoring health, maintaining a safe environment, and following care plans. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Home Health Aide or in a similar role.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and support to patients, including engaging in activities and conversation.
• Monitor patients' health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, including adhering to safety protocols.
• Follow care plans and protocols as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Other duties as assigned.
