Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a seasoned copywriter to develop website content and copy for a broad range of businesses and brand voices, applying content strategy to structure and sequence information within site experiences, and using AI-assisted workflows in copy development.

You will collaborate with brand strategists, UX leads, and designers, present creative work with clear rationale, produce copy options, incorporate feedback, and manage time across concurrent projects in a fast-moving agency

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of copywriting experience with a strong focus on websites and marketing.
• Creativity, versatility, and precision in copywriting.
• Attention to detail and an obsessive command of grammar.
• Content strategy experience, including structuring and sequencing information within a site experience.
• Knowledge of website UX best practices and emerging trends.
• Familiarity with and enthusiasm for AI tools.
• Ability to collaborate with brand strategists, UX leads, and designers.
• Creative problem solving and a flexible approach.
• Ability to prioritize and self-organize in a fast-moving agency environment.
• Skill at managing time across concurrent projects.
• Willingness to produce copy options and address feedback.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to explain rationale behind copy solutions.
• Positivity, initiative, and accountability through shifting priorities and ambiguity.
• Agency or high-growth startup experience strongly preferred.
