Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle WebLogic Server (10g/11g/12c) instances across development, test, and production environments.
• Manage domain creation, cluster configuration, and deployment of Java EE applications.
• Perform patching, upgrades, and performance tuning of WebLogic servers.
• Integrate WebLogic with Oracle databases, SOA Suite, OSB, and other middleware components.
• Configure and manage JDBC data sources, JMS, Node Manager, and SSL certificates.
• Monitor server performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system uptime and reliability.
• Implement and maintain security policies, roles, and access controls.
• Collaborate with developers, DBAs, and network/security teams to ensure smooth application deployments.
• Manage automation scripts for deployments, restarts, and monitoring (Shell/Perl/Python).
• Support disaster recovery and backup procedures.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience as a WebLogic Administrator in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle WebLogic Server (10g/11g/12c) architecture and administration.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments, scripting (Shell, Python, or Perl).
• Experience with load balancing, clustering, and high availability setups.
• Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Middleware, SOA Suite, and WebLogic console operations.
• Solid understanding of networking, firewalls, and SSL/TLS configuration.
• Experience integrating WebLogic with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with WebSphere, JBoss, or other middleware servers.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes/Docker for containerized deployments.
• Certifications such as Oracle Certified WebLogic Server Administrator are a plus.
