Job description

- The consultant will be responsible for evaluating how the existing reports are written, determining what fields were used, analyzing the report structure, as well as designing, coding and testing each of the reports.

- The consultant will be involved in maintaining (including production support), enhancing existing reports, and developing new projects from scratch.

- The consultant must have a broad range of skills, a general knowledge of WebFOCUS internals, and the understanding of associated technologies that WebFOCUS uses (PDF, EXCEL, HTML, AHTML and WORD as output formats).

- The programmer will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving production issues related to legacy and new-development reports.

- This is a professional level non-supervisory position which will require coordination of programming activities being conducted by the Team Lead in association within the existing structure, rules and guidelines of the current AOC WebReporting environment.

- This person will confer with other business and technical personnel who own data in various other systems stemming from many stored sources of information (DB2, Sybase, SQL, Mainframe Flat Files, etc.).
