Operates a crawler or rubber-tired machine mounted with an excavator bucket for excavating ditches, structures, mass excavations, laying pipe, loading trucks, and placing rock riprap. May also be equipped with various hydraulic attachments.
Texas Drivers License with proper endorsements, depending on assignment.
High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
Three or more years of related construction experience preferred.
Heavy physical activity performing strenuous day activities of a primarily productive/technical nature.
Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers.
Outdoor exposure to changing weather conditions, including extreme cold and heat, wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and loud noise levels.
