Job summary

Ferrovial, a global leader in infrastructure, is seeking a hands-on Supervisor/Foreman to join Webber’s Houston operations. You will work from plans to build, assemble, fit, and set forms for concrete structures, lead a crew, and ensure quality and safety on site.

Responsibilities include setting forms to line and level, reading plans, coordinating with survey crews, and supervising formwork installation and stripping.

Qualifications

• English communication required for verbal and written instructions.
• Three or more years of related construction experience preferred.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.

Fits together, aligns and sets to grade metal and wooden forms for placement for concrete paving and curbs.Essential functions and responsibilities:Must be able to set forms to line and level, read and understand plansWork with survey crew to set stringline for paving, curb, and gutterConstruct forms for the placement of concrete and structuresChecks forms while concrete is being placedAssist and direct others in stripping forms after concrete is placedInstall miscellaneous materials in erecting concrete structuresInstall pre-cast concrete elementsPrepare for slip-forming traffic rails and median barriersInstall permanent metal deck formsWork with hand tools and power toolsOther unlisted duties will be requiredRequirements:Ability to communicate in English via verbal and written communicationsMove throughout a construction jobsite which includes minor obstacles including climbing ladders and inclines, operating heavy equipment, and lifting up to 50 poundsSafety Policies and Practices : The employee in this job must be knowledgeable about and follow the company's safety policies and procedures as described in the company's safety manual.Education: High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required.Experience: three or more years related construction experience preferred.Physical Activity Level: Heavy physical activity performing strenuous day activities of a primarily productive/technical nature.Manual Dexterity: Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers.
