Job Summary

Supervisor: Foreman. Works from plans to build, assemble, fit together, align, plumb, and set in place forms for molding concrete structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Checks forms while concrete is being placed.
  • Directs others in stripping forms after concrete is placed.
  • May install miscellaneous materials integral to concrete structures.
  • May install precast concrete elements.
  • Prepares for slipforming traffic rail and median barrier.
  • May install permanent metal deck forms.
  • May work with power tools.
  • Whatever enhances the operations of the company Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Report all unsafe activities to the supervisor and/or Human Resources.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Education: less than High School Diploma.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
  • Experience: Minimum 0‑3 years of related construction experience preferred.
  • Physical Activity Level: Heavy physical activity performing strenuous day activities of a primarily productive/technical nature.
  • Manual Dexterity: Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers. Able to perceive attributes of objects and materials.
Working Conditions

Outdoor exposure to changing weather conditions (rain, sun, snow, wind, etc.).
