Ferrovial, including its Webber subsidiary, seeks an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician for movable bridges in a demanding environment. You will plan, coordinate and execute electrical maintenance, wiring installations and system repairs to keep bridge operations reliable.
Ideal candidates have HS diploma, some journeyman licensing and the ability to read electrical plans. On-site work, on-call rotations and overtime are required in Cocoa Beach/Port Canaveral area.

Plans, coordinates, and participates in the electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs on movable bridges, including roadway and navigational lighting and fender systems.
The employee is regularly required to stand; sit; walk on a wide range of surfaces; use hands and fingers, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear. Able to ascend and descend stairs and ladders on a regular basis. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted. Use manual and powered pneumatic, hydraulic, gas, and electric powered tools and equipment. Vision abilities include both close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is routinely exposed to outside weather conditions including extreme heat and cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high precarious places; fume or airborne particles. Occasional exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Must be able to work in tight spaces. Must be comfortable working in and around water and from boats. You will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriate to your job.
