Job summary

Walsworth is seeking a Web Press – Bundler to assist other Press Operators in the setup, operation and maintenance of web press equipment to produce printed materials. You will hang and position plates for correct color registration, adjust feeders and paper delivery, fix misfeeds or jams, and follow job tickets.

Safety is emphasized and you will take direction from Leads or Supervisors. This role may require overtime.

Job Summary:

As a Web Press – Bundler, you will assist other Press Operators in the setup, operation and maintenance of assigned press equipment to produce printed materials.

Required Systems/Applications:

• AS400/Monarch

Essential Functions:

• Hang and position plates properly to secure correct registration between colors.
• Fill water fountain with proper chemical mixture as directed.
• Adjust feeder guides, grippers and pile height to ensure proper paper delivery.
• Correct machine malfunctions such as misfeeds, misregister, paper jams, etc.
• Pack plates and blankets where needed to secure proper pressures.
• Follow instructions on job tickets.
• Practice Safety always by following safety guidelines as set by the company.
• Take directions from other Press Operators, Lead or Supervisor
• All other duties as assigned.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently while staying organized in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

• Able to lift and move materials weighing 30-75 pounds and handle objects or equipment using hands and fingers for most of the work shift.
• Capable of standing or walking for up to 8-12 hours, depending on the assigned shift, with occasional sitting, kneeling, squatting, or stair climbing as needed.
• Performs repetitive material handling tasks and may be required to do concentrated or detailed work for extended periods.
• Must be willing to work beyond standard business hours when required.

Minimum Requirements:
