Job summary

Walsworth in Fulton, MO is seeking a Web Press – Bundler to assist other Press Operators in setup, operation and maintenance of press equipment to produce printed materials.

This hourly, 1st shift role requires strong attention to detail, ability to follow complex instructions, and willingness to work safely in a fast-paced production line.

• Follow job tickets and safety guidelines.
• Take directions from Lead or Supervisor.
• All other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

As a Web Press – Bundler, you will assist other Press Operators in the setup, operation and maintenance of assigned press equipment to produce printed materials.

Required Systems/Applications

• AS400/Monarch

Essential Functions

• Hang and position plates properly to secure correct registration between colors.
• Fill water fountain with proper chemical mixture as directed.
• Adjust feeder guides, grippers and pile height to ensure proper paper delivery.
• Correct machine malfunctions such as misfeeds, misregister, paper jams, etc.
• Pack plates and blankets where needed to secure proper pressures.
• Follow instructions on job tickets.
• Practice Safety always by following safety guidelines as set by the company.
• Take directions from other Press Operators, Lead or Supervisor
• All other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

• Able to lift and move materials weighing 30-75 pounds and handle objects or equipment using hands and fingers for most of the work shift.
• Capable of standing or walking for up to 8-12 hours, depending on the assigned shift, with occasional sitting, kneeling, squatting, or stair climbing as needed.
• Performs repetitive material handling tasks and may be required to do concentrated or detailed work for extended periods.
• Must be willing to work beyond standard business hours when required.
