Job summary

Canonical is seeking a software engineer in the United States to design and implement well-tested web or Flutter applications and contribute to documentation. You will collaborate across the engineering team through reviews and technical specifications, and participate in ongoing improvements to processes and operations.

The role requires experience with TypeScript, React or Flutter, and a solid Linux background, plus professional English communication.

Requirements

• Exceptional academic track record
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or STEM

• Ability to travel twice a year for company events

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with container tech such as LXD, Docker and Kubernetes
• Attention to detail concerning user-centric UI development
• REST API design, development and governance
• Performance engineering and security experience
