Job summary

Mittera in Pineville, NC seeks a Web First Press Operator to lead the press team, operate web presses, and help achieve productivity, quality and safety goals. This leadership role directs work activities to ensure efficiency and standards are met.

Responsibilities include training, maintaining equipment, and promoting safety across shifts, with a focus on teamwork and high housekeeping standards. The ideal candidate will drive quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience as a multicolor web press operator.
• Ability to lead and foster growth and development on the team.
• Knowledgeable of press setup and maintenance procedures.
• Effective communications skills with all levels within the organization.
• Has basic computer skills.
• Must be self-motivated, reliable, and quality, safety oriented.
• Must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job.

The Web First Press Operator is responsible for operating web press machines and will play an essential role in the company. This position is a leadership role and will assist in directing the work activities of the press team members to ensure productivity, quality and safety goals are met.

• Guide crew to meet and exceed production standards
• Responsible for the ongoing training and development of team
