Job summary

Qualifications

  • Associate degree required in relevant field.
  • Two to four years of professional experience managing websites, digital communications, social media, or digital marketing.
  • Experience using WordPress CMS or similar platform.
  • Experience creating and managing content for websites and social media.
  • Experience ensuring digital content meets accessibility standards (WCAG/ADA).

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and update the college website, intranet, and social media platforms to ensure accurate, timely, and engaging content.
  • Collaborate with departments to create and publish content that supports institutional goals, recruitment, student success, and community engagement.
  • Ensure all digital content complies with applicable accessibility standards (WCAG/ADA) and promote best practices for accessible web and social media communications.
  • Monitor website content for accuracy, consistency, usability, and branding, coordinating regular content reviews with campus departments.
  • Manage the college’s content management system (CMS), user permissions, and site organization.
  • Monitor website and social media analytics to evaluate performance and recommend improvements.
  • Optimize web content for search engines (SEO) and user experience.
  • Collaborate with Marketing department to maintain consistent branding, messaging, and visual standards across the college’s website, intranet, and social media platforms.
  • Work with the Marketing department to post and create social media content.
  • Coordinate with Information Technology and external vendors to support website functionality, integrations, security, and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain the college intranet as a central resource for employee communication, collaboration, and institutional information.
  • Stay current on emerging trends, technologies, accessibility requirements, and best practices in web development, digital communications, and social media.
