Tier4 Group is seeking a web developer for 100% remote work in the United States. The role focuses on building AI-powered web applications and integrating LLMs, embeddings, and RAG pipelines. Backend work includes Python and Node.js services, with frontend in Blazor, React, or Angular.

The successful candidate will work with Azure cloud, .NET Core, PostgreSQL/MySQL, and DevOps pipelines using Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, and Docker. Strong emphasis on security, performance, and maintainable code.

Qualifications

• Experience building responsive web applications using modern frameworks.
• Ability to build AI-powered features (intelligent search, document generation, chat interfaces).
• Familiarity with LLMs, embeddings, vector search, and RAG pipelines.

Web Development Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using modern frameworks and technologies. Build and integrate AI-powered features into web applications and enterprise tools (intelligent search, document generation, chat interfaces, automated workflows)
• Work with LLMs, embeddings, vector search, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering to deliver natural language experiences
• Integrate with AI/ML APIs and SDKs
• Build backend services in Python and/or Node.js supporting AI workloads including data preprocessing, embedding generation, model inference
• Review and refine AI-generated code for production quality, security, and architectural consistency
• Evaluate AI models and approaches based on cost, latency, accuracy, and use case fit

• Implement user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) that are intuitive and accessible.
• Integrate backend services and APIs to support web application functionality.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, performance optimization, and adherence to security best practices.

• Participate in on-call rotation to maintain the ticket queue.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business goals.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Perform debugging, testing, and deployment of developed solutions.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in web development and AI.
