Job summary

J&T Business Consulting seeks a Web Developer / Software Engineer (Level 1) to join a high-performing team at Fort Meade, MD. You will own features end-to-end across UI, APIs, and databases, delivering scalable cloud-hosted applications in AWS.

The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph and a DoD IAM Level I cert. You will participate in architectural decisions, code reviews, and security-focused development in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline; 7+ years software engineering experience on similar scope and complexity, or 11+ years without a degree.
• Experience with web fundamentals and RESTful API design.
• Experience deploying and operating software on Linux and basic shell automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain full-stack web applications and enterprise services (UI, API, and database layers).
• Deploy, monitor, and support production services in AWS; troubleshoot incidents and implement root-cause remediation.
