Job summary

Bullett Consulting is seeking an Intermediate-to-advanced-level web designer/developer to design and construct web pages for clients, ensuring the incorporation of the latest GUI features and a solid understanding of user interfaces.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3-6 years of relevant experience, solid skills in HTML, CSS, ColdFusion, and PHP, and must hold an ACTIVE Security Clearance. The role demands self-direction and the ability to work independently.

Job Description

Intermediate-to-advanced-level web designer/developer who is skilled at web design and possesses a solid understanding of user interface and front-end concepts. Duties include but are not limited to the following: designs and constructs web pages, incorporates the latest graphic user interface (GUI) features and other techniques; maintains and provides ongoing design of the website and graphics; exhibits solid SharePoint operational and administrative knowledge; familiar with standard concepts, best practices, and procedures in web design; relies on experience and judgment to plan, coordinate and accomplish goals; produces wireframes, mockups and comparison, and brings designs to life with HTML and CSS development; performs testing and provides peer feedback; and has the ability to assist with refactoring of legacy ColdFusion code as well as its eventual re-write in PHP.

Qualifications

• Required Education: BA or equivalent experience within related field.
• Required Years of Experience: 3-6 years.
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
• Experience with server-side programming (ColdFusion and/or PHP).
• Closely follows trends and developments in technology and integrates them into our environment and practices.
• Self-directed and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and complete projects with little or no supervision.
• Experience with Object Oriented Programming.
• Experience designing sites that adhere to web standards.
• Site Administrator Experience with SharePoint 2010 or above.
• Experience with ColdFusion to PHP migration.
• Experience with Model/View/Controller frameworks.
• Experience with Version Control System (Subversion).
• Experience with enterprise Content Management Systems.
