Mallard Agency is seeking a talented Web Developer for a part-time, remote role to elevate our clients’ web capabilities. You’ll build and customize high-end sites across WordPress, Webflow, Framer, and Shopify, translating Figma designs into pixel-accurate experiences with attention to detail and interaction.

You’ll work approximately 80 hours per month, during CST business hours, and collaborate with a team to implement SEO and emerging optimization practices while exploring AI-assisted tools

Mallard Agency is looking for a talented Web Developer to join our team on a part-time basis and help us take our web capabilities to the next level.

We’re an agency doing increasingly sophisticated work for our clients, and we’re looking for someone who can go beyond basic website updates. You’ll be responsible for building, customizing, managing, and troubleshooting high-end websites across a variety of platforms, while bringing designs to life with a strong eye for detail and interaction.

This is a part-time role (approximately 80 hours/month) with availability required during CST business hours.

What You’ll Do

• Build and customize high-end, custom websites across WordPress, Webflow, Framer, and Shopify

• Translate Figma designs into pixel-accurate, responsive web experiences

• Customize existing website templates and components to meet specific design and functionality requirements

• Create engaging animations, interactions, and micro-interactions

• Manage and maintain existing websites, including troubleshooting technical issues and implementing updatess

• Implement foundational SEO, GEO, AEO, and LLMO best practices

• Work closely with the team to turn creative concepts and designs into polished, functional websites

• Use AI-assisted development tools, including Claude, to improve development speed, problem-solving, and workflow efficiency

• Help identify opportunities to improve our web development processes and capabilities

What We’re Looking For

• Strong hands-on experience with WordPress, Webflow, Framer, and Shopify

• Proven experience building high-end, custom websites, not just basic template-based sites

• Strong ability to translate Figma designs into pixel-accurate implementations

• Experience with template customization and component-based development

• Experience creating animations and interactive web experiences

• Working knowledge of SEO and emerging search optimization practices, including GEO, AEO, and LLMO

• Experience with website management, troubleshooting, migrations, and DNS

• Experience using Claude or other AI-assisted development tools as part of your workflow

• Strong written and spoken English communication skills

• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and take ownership of projects

• Strong attention to detail and a high standard for visual quality

The Details

• Hours: 80 hours/month (approximately 50% of a full-time role)

• Schedule: Must be available during CST business hours
