Job summary

Yardi Systems, Inc. is seeking a talented Web Designer to craft engaging web experiences across applications, portals, and marketing sites. You will handle visual design, IA, and UI, turning complex concepts into intuitive digital experiences.

You will design layouts, wireframes, and assets, ensuring cross-browser usability and mobile-first responsiveness, with strong HTML/CSS/JS know-how and an eye for usability and accessibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in web design and development, UI design, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Two years of web design experience using HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, Bootstrap or similar tools.
• Experience with UI/UX design and accessibility requirements.
• Strong portfolio of web design samples and proficiency with design tools.

Responsibilities

• Create user interfaces using front-end code in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Deliver front-end code that works across browsers, devices, and platforms.
• Ensure responsive, mobile-first design and accessibility.

About The Role

We're looking for a talented Web Designer to create engaging, user-focused experiences across our web-based applications, public portals, and marketing websites. In this role, you'll be responsible for visual design, information architecture, and user interface design, transforming complex concepts into intuitive and visually compelling digital experiences.

Working closely with clients and development teams, you'll design web page layouts, wireframes, and graphic assets while ensuring seamless functionality and usability across browsers, devices, and platforms. The ideal candidate combines strong design instincts with front-end development knowledge, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and has a passion for creating responsive, mobile-first experiences that deliver exceptional results for users.

What You'll Do:

• Create user interfaces using front-end code in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Deliver front-end code that functions consistently across all browsers, devices, and platforms
• Ensure front-end code is responsive and implemented with a mobile-first approach
• Leverage the existing frameworks and technology
• Design websites that are easy to access and visually effective
• Create wireframes, rapid prototypes, and comps to show important interactions, functionality, user interfaces, and mock-up designs
• Design for maximum usability with a focus on user experience
• Provide design advice on projects and make recommendations for improving websites
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitor products
• Coordinate closely with Client Services and Marketing Specialists to support clients
• Fulfill multiple project requests while simultaneously meeting tight production deadlines

Who You Are:

• Bachelor's degree in web design and development, UI design, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Two years of web design experience utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, Bootstrap front-end framework, or similar tools for creating websites and web applications
• Experience with user interface and user experience (UI/UX) design
• Online portfolio of design samples
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
• Proficiency in Figma
• Solid knowledge of web technologies and applications
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Knowledge of Bootstrap front-end framework
• Understanding of accessibility requirements
• Strong knowledge of responsive and mobile design
• Familiarity with iOS and Android application design
• Familiarity with backend/CMS applications
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail and solid organizational skills
• Ability to learn new technologies and integrate them into the environment and practices
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to work at assigned office location
• Ability to attend meetings and perform tasks for long periods on a computer and on the telephone
• Regular attendance and a regular work schedule are essential functions of this job
