Responsibilities include wireframes, UI design, asset creation, and ensuring accessibility and performance across devices. Mandarin (preferred) and a strong portfolio are highly valued in a fast-paced, onsite role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in design or related field.
• Proven experience as a Web Designer with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency with design tools and front-end basics (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with WordPress or Shopify and WCAG accessibility.

Fuheng Inc. is seeking a Web Designer to create engaging, user-friendly, and visually compelling responsive websites and landing pages. This role supports the delivery of brand-consistent digital experiences through close collaboration with marketing, product, and development teams.

Role Responsibilities

• Design and maintain visually appealing, responsive websites and landing pages.
• Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and UI designs for web applications and websites.
• Maintain consistency with brand guidelines across digital platforms.
• Collaborate with marketing, content, and development teams to translate business requirements into effective web designs.
• Optimize website layouts, graphics, and user interfaces for usability, accessibility, and performance.
• Design web assets such as banners, icons, graphics, illustrations, and promotional materials.
• Work with developers to support accurate implementation of designs.
• Perform website updates and continuous improvements based on user feedback and analytics.
• Test designs across multiple browsers and devices to ensure responsive functionality.
• Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Stay current with web design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience as a Web Designer or in a similar role.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating responsive website design, UI design, and creative problem-solving.
• Proficiency with design tools including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Figma, Sketch, or similar software.
• Solid understanding of responsive design principles, typography, color theory, layout, and user-centered design.
• Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and basic JavaScript.
• Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress or Shopify (or similar platforms).
• Understanding of UI/UX design principles and web accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Strong communication, collaboration, time management, and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
