Job summary

Hexcel is seeking a Web Conversion Print Operator for the Casa Grande, AZ, USA location. The role covers setup and operation of the #7 and 335 Printlines, processing treated aluminum foil, and applying adhesive to prepregs and substrates.

The position offers a grave shift (11:00PM–7:00AM, Mon–Fri) with overtime as needed and a $1.75/hour shift premium. Start rate is $29.55/hour during orientation, increasing to $32.21/hour after 90 days.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of one year experience in manufacturing.
• Basic ability to read safety rules and operating instructions; perform routine data entry.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the #7 Printline and the 335 Printline.
• Process treated aluminum foil and print, sheet, and apply adhesive to Nomex, Korex, and glass prepreg.
• Record SPC data during the process and monitor line operation.
• Obtain raw materials and ensure adhesives are applied consistently.

Start rate: $29.55 Per Hour during the New Hire Orientation Period - normally 90 calendar days, then increases to $32.21 Per Hour. This position is on Grave shift (11:00PM to 7:00AM, Monday - Friday + O/T as required) and pays a $1.75 per hour shift premium. Note that the workday on Grave shift is designated by the day the shift ends.**The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:*** Sets up and operates the #7 Printline and the 335 Printline.* Processes treated aluminum foil.* Prints, sheets, and applies adhesive to Nomex, Korex, and glass pre-preg.* Obtains raw materials pertinent to #7 Printline or 335 Printline operation from respective areas.* Monitors print line operation to assure adhesive is applied in a consistent manner.* Records SPC data during process.**Qualifications:*** High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent.* Minimum of one year experience required preferably in manufacturing.* Must be proficient in use of tape measure and ruler.* Basic working knowledge of computer data entry function required.* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
