Guidehouse is seeking a Web Content Specialist to develop, edit, publish, and maintain web content for transportation research and communications programs. You will ensure accuracy, accessibility, and SEO while complying with federal standards and workflows.

The role requires 5+ years in web content management, CMS experience, and a Bachelor's degree. You will collaborate across offices and manage content governance and training materials.

Qualifications

• 5 years of web content management, digital communications, or related functions.
• Experience with CMS to maintain and publish content on websites or intranets.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of SEO, accessibility standards, and content governance.
• Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholder groups.

Responsibilities

• Draft, edit, review, route, publish, and maintain website content using approved workflows.
• Support a primary Drupal site, secondary Drupal sites, SharePoint, and Google Sites.
• Edit pages, images, metadata, alt text, and related assets for accuracy and SEO.
• Coordinate quarterly content certifications to keep public content current.
• Monitor site performance, fix broken links, and recommend navigation improvements.
• Develop user guides, training materials, and process documentation.
• Prepare graphics for web publication, including resizing and metadata.
• Collaborate with web managers, program offices, and legal teams throughout publishing lifecycle.
• Support content governance, QA reviews, and content audits.
