Job summary

DMI is seeking a Web Application Developer to help build front-end web applications supporting business processes in cloud environments (Azure) and the MS Power Platform Suite.

You will analyze, design, develop, and support complex enterprise projects, interfacing with stakeholders and ensuring systems meet requirements and standards. On-site work in the Washington, DC metro area is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, CS, Math, Finance, Business or Public Administration, or related field.
• (4) to seven (7) years of relevant web app development experience with two (2) years in DevOps.
• Master's degree in computer science or related IT field.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop, apply, and support complex enterprise projects.
• Evaluate customer requirements and provide effective solutions.
• Interface with offices, consult with user departments on system requirements, and resolve problems for enhancements to systems.
• Participate in problem resolution related to system design and review.
• Recommend approval of functional and technical design documents and enactment of systems, program enhancements, and updates of applications.
• Analyze and evaluate system changes to determine feasibility and backup procedures.
• Develop new systems, upgrades, and enhancements to existing systems, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Perform platform administration duties including patching, performance tuning, and AD integration on Windows and Linux, and cloud environments (Azure, AWS).
• Implement CI/CD using Bamboo, Git, Octopus, Docker, PowerShell, and Kubernetes.
• Implement application logging and monitoring.
