Job summary

SAIC's QVine unit seeks an experienced Full Stack Web Application Developer to design and build scalable web apps with AI-driven features. You will blend ReactJS front-end expertise with robust Python back-end work, and integrate LangChain, LangGraph, LangSmith for advanced LLM workflows.

You'll own API design, CI/CD, cloud deployment (AWS/Azure), security practices, and collaboration with cybersecurity to ensure compliant, reliable software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 9+ years of experience (MS or PhD preferred).
• TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
• Proven production experience with ReactJS and Python back-end services.
• Experience building LLM-powered features with LangChain/LangGraph/LangSmith.

QVine, an SAIC company, is seeking an experienced Full Stack Web Application Developer to join our team. This role involves hands-on technical expertise in building modern, scalable web applications with a focus on AI-driven features. The ideal candidate combines strong front-end development skills in ReactJS with robust Python backend experience, including the design and integration of LLM-powered applications using LangChain, LangGraph, and LangSmith.

Key Responsibilities:

• Front-End Development: Design, build, and maintain responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using ReactJS, including state management, component architecture, and integration with RESTful and streaming APIs.
• Python Backend Development: Develop and maintain scalable backend services in Python, exposing clean APIs to support front-end and AI-driven functionality.
• LLM Application Engineering: Design, implement, and optimize AI-powered features using LangChain and LangGraph, including building conversational agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, and multi-step agentic workflows.
• API Design & Integration: Build and maintain well-documented APIs that connect front-end applications with backend services and third-party LLM providers.
• CI/CD & Deployment: Contribute to continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines to streamline code deployment, testing, and release cycles for web applications.
• Cloud Deployment: Deploy and maintain web applications and backend services in cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure), ensuring high availability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Security & Compliance: Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to embed best practices into the development lifecycle, including secrets management, secure API design, vulnerability scanning, and compliance automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.
• TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Proven experience building production web applications with ReactJS and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong proficiency in Python, with experience developing backend services and APIs (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, or Django).
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, and LangSmith, or comparable LLM orchestration and observability frameworks.
• Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment on AWS or Azure.
• Understanding of secure development practices and compliance requirements.

Target salary range: $180,001 - $220,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
