Looking for someone to run and operate a weaver machine. The operator will weave machines and perform tasks related to safety, quality and efficiency. Shifts available: 2nd and 3rd shift. Work location: Burlington, NC.
Duties
- Check material at the beginning of each shift and record any defects on the downtime card
- Check material on hourly intervals throughout the 8‑hour shift
- Ensure filling is running correctly with tickets
- Make sure filling is creiled evenly on all machines at the end of your shift, as well as during
- Record picks on the downtime card at the end of the shift
- Aid the technician in creiling of style change
- Empty selvage cans once per shift
- Doff machines as neededSweep up at the end of shift
- Blow down the machines as needed
- Mark cloth with a marker at the beginning and the end of each shift
- Help keep the weave room in full production when others are out sick or on vacation
- Carry out all other duties as assigned by the team leader
PPE Requirements
- Everyone in the weaving department must wear ear plugs
- Must use safety goggles when using compressed air
Shifts
- 2nd shift – 3 pm to 11 pm, Monday through Friday
- 3rd shift – 11 pm to 7 am, Monday through Friday
