Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 8–10 years plant/warehouse maintenance experience including electrical and mechanical repair.
• Experience operating forklift equipment.
• Vocational or technical certification preferred.
• Ability to make quick, reliable decisions representing customer and Ryder

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and troubleshooting functions on warehousing equipment.
• Maintains and troubleshoots plant utility systems including fire protection, water, electrical, air, and vacuum as applicable.
• Understanding shop maintenance, parts inventory, parts ordering, and plant reporting systems.
• Performs routine forklift repairs.
• Maintains batteries and related equipment.
• Performs routine Preventive Maintenance (PM) and maintains records of repairs.
• If required, provides training on safety, quality, sanitation, and efficiency of packaging/warehouse equipment for operations associates.
• Additional duties as assigned, overtime as needed

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $30.00 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $45.00 per hour
• Schedule:(B shift): Thursday-Saturday 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, every other Wednesday 7:00 am - 7:00 pm
• (must be willing to work overtime and on weekends)

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 8-10 years plant/warehouse general maintenance experience, including eletrical and mechanical repair and trouble-shooting
• Has the ability to make quick, reliable decisions that represent both the customer and Ryder
• Good organizational, communication, and planning skills
• Vocational or Technical Certification preferred
• Experience operating forklift equipment required
• Equipment certification may be required
