Job summary

Acuity International is seeking a Protective Security Trainer in Mogadishu to deliver firearms and protective security training for WPS III personnel. The role covers classroom instruction, range training, and coordination of refresher courses.

You will conduct training in accordance with DoS requirements, qualify with Glock-19, M4/MK18, M240, and M249, and support protection teams in austere deployments. US citizenship and travel readiness are required.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Minimum 2 years as an instructor in security.
• Minimum 1 year as a FTE firearms instructor.
• Minimum 5 years in protective security.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Must have a valid U.S. passport with at least 6 months remaining.
• Must speak, write, and communicate in English.
• Must pass pre-employment PRT to advance in the process.
• Must be willing to travel overseas for deployments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct training for WPS III personnel.
• Coordinate and conduct refresher training and firearms re-qualifications for WPS III personnel.
• Oversee security training tasks and ensure compliance with DoS requirements.
