Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Weapons Requirements and Architecture Engineer / Principal Weapons Requirements and Architecture Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals at our Melbourne, FL campus or our San Diego (Rancho Bernardo), CA campus. This position will be based within our office spaces to support the program and business needs. Operating on our 9/80 schedule means you will get every other Friday off. This position has NO HYBRID OR REMOTE WORK AVILABLE.
This position requires a Program Security Clearance to be obtained prior to starting in the role. The selected individual will perform within an interdisciplinary team to develop novel and innovative solutions to advanced technical problems. The successful engineer will contribute to the overall development of Weapons Integration, including developing functional architecture, analyzing performance, developing and managing requirements and interfaces, and verifying/validating all allocated requirements. You will design, develop, build, and test stores management systems in conjunction with key suppliers.
Salary Ranges:
Level 2: $79,300 - $118,900
Level 3: $98,400 - $147,600
Level 2: $97,800 -$137,600
Level 3: $114,000 -$171,000

Primary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $137,600.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $171,000.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
