Job summary

Goldman Sachs Wealth Services in Cohoes, New York is seeking an Associate, Software Engineering to develop, enhance and maintain the firm’s software solutions across global businesses. You will design scalable, high-quality systems using internal and open-source services and participate in the full SDLC, including testing and deployment.

You will gather requirements, refine user stories, code, test (unit/integration/regression), conduct UAT and deployments, and collaborate with internal teams on

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computational Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or a related field and two years of experience in software engineering.
Two years of experience with 5 of the following: TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3; full SDLC; Angular and React; Redux; Git; Sybase or Oracle; data structures, algorithms and RESTful API; SQL or NoSQL.

Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, support and maintain the Firm’s software solutions across global businesses.
Design scalable, high-quality technology solutions leveraging internal and open-source services.
Participate in requirements gathering, user story refinement, development, testing, UAT and deployment.
