Job summary

HSBC is seeking a Wealth Services Specialist to provide account support and trade execution for WPB Premier clients. You will handle domestic and international orders by phone or email and assist Wealth Centers, WRMs, and internal teams in multiple languages.

The role requires Series 7 and 66 licensing, strong product knowledge, and the ability to manage priorities with confidentiality. A hybrid work setup applies in the US, with an emphasis on client service and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Experience in financial services industry or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of investment products, markets, and service providers and regulations.
  • Well-spoken and well written, with a people-focused attitude.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with tact, diplomacy and confidentiality.
  • Second language is a plus: Mandarin, Spanish, or Portuguese.
  • Licensed Registered Representative, Series 7 and Series 66 mandatory; S63/65 preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Attend phone lines queues, service clients accordingly, efficiently within existing guidelines in both languages.
  • Receive and execute buy/sell orders for equities, options, fixed income, structured products, mutual funds, and forex.
  • Perform account maintenance services upon client request.
  • Support clients for tax reporting needs.
  • Support Middle Office and Operations on trade-related matters and reports.
  • Support Sales Management and Regulatory Compliance.
  • Respond to regulatory inquiries as needed.
  • Receive, review, and analyze a variety of reports and documents for accuracy.
  • Maintain proper desk activity record.

This role primarily provides account support services and trade execution to the WPB Premier client base, including advisor-led and Self-Directed via phone and email. The Specialist also supports inquiries from Wealth Centers and internal clients such as WRMs (Wealth Relationship Managers), Wealth Operations staff, Compliance and Sales Management. Responsible for receiving and executing domestic and international securities orders and providing accurate information and brokerage account servicing to clients, internal and external, and in multiple languages.

The WPB Services Desk covers the full span of the WPB client continuum; therefore, Specialists may also cover for HNW (High Net Worth) client order entry and customer service support as needed.

As a Wealth Services Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

You’ll likely have the following to succeed in this role:

  • Experiencein financial services industry or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of investment products, markets, and traditional and non-traditional service providers as well as regulations affecting area of responsibility
  • Well-spoken and well written, with a people-focused attitude
  • Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities with tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality
  • Having a second language is a plus: Mandarin, Spanish, or Portuguese
  • Licensed Registered Representative, Series 7 and Series 66 mandatory, in addition S63/65 preferred
