Job summary

IDB Bank's Private Banking division seeks a Wealth Planning Specialist to deliver sophisticated financial planning and investment advisory support for high-net-worth clients across NY, CA, FL markets. You will partner with Private Bankers, crafting plans and investment narratives tailored to client goals and risk profiles.

Qualifications

• CFP designation in good standing.
• Minimum 5 years of financial planning and investment advisory experience.
• Experience working with HNW/UHNW clients.
• Strong knowledge of ETFs, mutual funds, fixed income and alternatives.
• Licenses: Series 7 and Series 65 (or 66).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Spanish language proficiency (written and spoken, preferred).
• Proficiency with MoneyGuidePro financial planning software.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive financial plans encompassing retirement, estate, cash flow, and insurance planning for HNW and UHNW clients.
• Attend and actively contribute to client meetings alongside PBs as planning and investment SME.
• Translate complex financial concepts into client-tailored narratives aligned with goals and risk profiles.
• Identify planning gaps and proactively recommend solutions aligned with long‑term objectives.
• Construct and present investment proposals and monitor portfolio construction, asset allocation and manager selection.
• Provide ongoing portfolio monitoring, attribution commentary, and rebalancing recommendations.
• Collaborate with private bankers to support client acquisition, retention and integrated wealth solutions.
