Job summary

CMC Recruiting represents a respected wealth management client seeking a Paraplanner / Associate Advisor to join their growing team in Coral Gables, FL. This role blends technical planning with people skills and offers a clear path toward becoming a Lead Advisor.

You will draft financial plans, analyze client information, prepare for meetings, and support advisors in executing recommendations. You’ll sit in on client meetings, build relationships, and gradually assume more responsibility as you

Qualifications

2–5 years of experience in financial planning or wealth management.
Experience as Paraplanner or Associate Advisor or similar role.
Strong understanding of core financial planning concepts.
Series 7 & 63 licenses; CFP designation preferred or in progress.

Responsibilities

Prepare and update comprehensive financial plans with advisors.
Gather and analyze client information including assets, liabilities, income, expenses, and documents.
Build planning scenarios and identify opportunities and recommendations.
Review data before meetings and help prepare agendas and materials.
Participate in client meetings as a second-chair and contribute to discussions.
Gradually present portions of plans and recommendations during meetings.
Translate meetings into action items, CRM updates, and next steps.
Maintain accurate client records and ensure planning items are executed.
