Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) is seeking a Wealth Planner to join our Private Banking team in New York. You will support the Senior Wealth Planner and collaborate with Relationship Management and Banking teams to deliver proactive trust, estate, philanthropic and tax guidance to BBH clients.

This role may include part-time or telecommuting options and requires engagement with high-net-worth clients (> $20 million) while building a robust professional network across the Trusts and Estates

Qualifications

• JD required; LLM or CPA a plus.
• 6–10 years of trusts and estates lawyer experience with high-net-worth clients.
• Strong understanding of sophisticated estate planning techniques.
• Experience preparing materials illustrating client estate plans using Numbercruncher, Excel, PowerPoint, and eMoney.

Responsibilities

• Relationship Management: support Senior Wealth Planner, review estate documents, prepare client materials, analyze estate, tax, trust, and philanthropic issues.
• Business Development: grow Private Banking through referrals, build relationships with high-net-worth clients, publish articles, speak publicly, and develop a client network.
