Job description

Stop Chasing Clients. Start Advising Them.

You built your career to become a trusted financial professional—not to spend your day cold calling, prospecting, and constantly searching for your next client. One of theNation’s largest Asset Managers is seeking an experienced Wealth Planner to work with an established portfolio of high-net-worth clients who already have assets professionally managed by the firm.

No book of business required. No starting from zero.

Instead, you’ll step into existing client relationships and focus on what you do best: financial planning, investment guidance, relationship management, and helping clients make smarter decisions about their wealth.

Why Advisors Are Attracted to This Opportunity
  • Planning Instead of Prospecting: Leave behind the constant pressure of building a pipeline. Your clients are already here.
  • High-Net-Worth Client Exposure: Work directly with affluent clients whose growing wealth creates increasingly sophisticated planning needs.
  • Go Beyond Portfolio Performance: Help clients address the bigger financial picture—including retirement income, investment strategy, tax efficiency, education planning, healthcare, long-term care, and estate considerations.
  • Become the Trusted Planning Resource: Own meaningful client conversations from discovery through recommendation, implementation and ongoing guidance.
  • More Advice. Less Administration: Work within a team-based, technology-enabled model designed to give you the infrastructure, resources and planning tools to deliver advice efficiently and at scale.
Build the Next Chapter of Your Career

Deepen your expertise in comprehensive planning and managed solutions while positioning yourself for continued advancement across wealth management, advisory and leadership opportunities.

What You’ll Do

You’ll lead scheduled planning and guidance appointments with clients ranging from newly established relationships to high-net-worth individuals and families with sophisticated financial needs.

  • Deliver personalized, comprehensive financial planning and investment guidance.
  • Lead consultative conversations around clients’ goals, portfolios and evolving financial priorities.
  • Guide clients regarding their managed portfolios and broader investment strategies.
  • Develop integrated strategies covering retirement accumulation and income, investments, tax efficiency, education, healthcare, long-term care and estate considerations.
  • Anticipate changing needs and proactively identify opportunities to add value.
  • Own the planning experience from preparation and discovery through recommendations, implementation and follow-up.
  • Partner with experienced colleagues within a collaborative advisory environment.
  • Leverage sophisticated planning, investment and digital advice technology.
  • Primarily meet with clients virtually, allowing you to efficiently serve a broad and diverse client base.
What You Bring
  • Active FINRA Series 7 license required
  • 4+ years of experience conducting financial planning, guidance, or advisory services
  • Managed-account or advisory solutions experience preferred
  • CFP® designation or progress toward the CFP® is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to develop trusted client relationships
  • Strong consultative communication and presentation skills
  • Experience conducting financial planning, guidance or advisory appointments
  • Comfort leveraging financial planning and investment technology
  • Strong practice-management, organizational and follow-through skills
  • Emotional intelligence and the ability to simplify complex financial concepts
Your Clients Are Already Here. Now Focus on the Advice.
