Job description

Eckard Enterprises is a family-owned and operated energy asset management firm based in Allen, TX. We focus on the U.S. oil and gas industry, managing a diverse portfolio of assets including mineral rights, exploration and production, steel fabrication, and pipeline infrastructure.

We believe that owning tangible energy assets is one of the most stable, long-term investment strategies in today’s market—and we are committed to delivering exceptional service and value to our clients.

This is an opportunity to join a growing organization, work directly with successful investors and business owners, and develop expertise in alternative investments and the energy industry. For the right person, this role provides significant opportunity to grow a client base, expand professional relationships, and build a long-term career within the organization.

About the Role

We are seeking a driven, relationship-focused Wealth Manager to join our growing Wealth Management team. This is a client-facing position focused on developing relationships with high-net-worth and accredited investors, understanding their financial goals, and helping them evaluate investment opportunities. The ideal candidate has a strong track record in sales, business development, or relationship management and is comfortable communicating with successful entrepreneurs, physicians, executives, business owners, and other sophisticated investors. A minimum of three years of professional sales experience is required. Previous experience in wealth management, financial services, investments, real estate, oil and gas, or other high-value relationship-based sales is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Educate clients on available investment opportunities, structures, risks, potential returns, and timelines
  • Follow up with prospective and existing investors and maintain a disciplined sales pipeline
  • Identify opportunities to deepen existing client relationships
  • Participate in investor events, dinners, conferences, webinars, and other business-development initiatives
  • Coordinate with portfolio, investment, client service, operations, accounting, and marketing teams
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of client conversations and follow-up activity
  • Consistently meet individual and team performance expectations
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of professional sales experience required
  • Demonstrated success in sales, business development, or relationship management

  • Proven ability to build trust and develop long-term client relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with disciplined follow-up
  • Competitive, self-motivated, and results-oriented
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment with a team
Required Skills

  • Personal accountability
  • Ability to develop relationships, ask the right questions, follow up consistently, and earn business through trust and credibility
  • Comfort having conversations with sophisticated investors
  • Ability to manage relationships that can span years
  • Competitive and motivated by results while understanding that long-term relationships come before short-term transactions

  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid Time Off (PTO)
