Job summary

Advisors Excel in Topeka, KS is seeking a Wealth Management Summer Intern to gain broad exposure within the Wealth Management team and to contribute to key projects on the AEWM platform. You will have opportunities to shadow multiple areas of the company and participate in on-the-job training.

You will assist marketing and operations, attend trainings, and help compile transition packets for Advisors Excel while gaining hands-on experience across sales, operations, and back office in a

• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to interact with all personality types and with all levels of staff.
• Ability to work independently, but also as a collaborative team member.
• Exceptional problem determination skills with a high attention to detail.
• PC proficiency, ability to work on several platforms at once.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Wealth Management Marketing and Operations teams.
• Attend Advisor one-on-one meetings and various trainings.
• Assist the transitions team in compiling transition packets for Advisors Excel.
• Shadow all sides of wealth management including sales, operations, and back office.
• Participate in on-the-job training with department managers.
• Assist with preparations for client meetings.
• Assist with gathering and organizing data for projects as assigned.
