Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a seasoned wealth management professional to advance Affluent Wealth Management initiatives. The role involves collaborating with market leaders, advisors, and teams to expand revenue through strategic program delivery and financial planning education.

You will lead with expertise in planning concepts, client events, and partnerships, while traveling to develop opportunities and share best practices across the network. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Five to seven years or more of job-related experience.
  • FINRA 7 license.
  • FINRA 65/66 license.
  • Insurance licenses.
  • Thorough knowledge of comprehensive financial planning concepts and strategies.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Wealth Management best practices.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to influence and persuade.
  • Strong analytical, creative, project management, organizational, and PC skills.
  • Effective presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Good organizational and project management skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of geographical areas, competitive markets, banking operations, and U.S. Bancorp products and services.
  • Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and workplace conduct and safety policies.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the growth of the overall Affluent Wealth Management Strategy.
  • Work directly with Market Leaders, Wealth Management Teams, and Financial Advisors to increase productivity and revenue.
  • Build competencies in practice management, advisory-based programs, financial planning construction and delivery, and other strategic drivers.
  • Educate and coach teams on the advisory process, prospecting, financial planning construction and delivery, and best practices.
  • Create and identify sales opportunities.
  • Contribute subject matter expertise for client events and presentations.
  • Work with bank partners and market leaders to develop business and support introductions.
  • Educate partners on the benefits of the Wealth Management Strategy.
  • Leverage internal and external partners and product providers to deliver value-added content and product training.
  • Travel significantly
