Job summary

BNY Mellon is seeking a Director, IWM Portfolio Manager for our Wealth Management team in Pittsburgh, PA. The role focuses on managing assets within policy guidelines across large, complex accounts and implementing strategies aligned with client goals.

You will collaborate with research and portfolio teams, meet with clients and prospects, and contribute to policy development through the investment committee. Strong leadership and communication will support client retention and business growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required; advanced or graduate degree preferred.
• 10+ years of total work experience preferred; MBAs or CFAs preferred.
• Applicable local or regional licenses and certifications as required by the business.
• Bi-lingual capabilities and understanding of local/cultural nuances are helpful to build client trust.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage assets within investment policy guidelines for large, complex accounts/funds.
• Implement investment strategies aligned with client goals and risk tolerance.
• Collaborate with research, strategy, and portfolio teams to optimize decisions.
• Meet with clients and prospects to discuss strategies and market conditions.
• Serve on the investment committee to refine policies and strategies.
• Evaluate performance and adjust portfolios to meet objectives.
