Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Wealth Management Banker in the affluent segment to deliver the full spectrum of products and services, building and retaining client relationships.

You will collaborate with advisors and branch teams to identify prospects, assess client needs, and provide wealth planning discussions while navigating licensing requirements and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Up to three years of experience in Wealth Management or financial services.
• Series 6-63 or Series 7-63 licenses.
• Strong relationship management and sales skills.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and call leads.
• Meet with affluent clients to collect financial information, conduct discovery, assess needs, and evaluate each client's unique situation.
• Determine which financial products are suitable for the client's unique circumstances now and in the future.
• Facilitate the delivery of strategies and capabilities including lending, deposits, and purchasing power.
• Grow the Affluent client base and increase revenue by ensuring client service matrix is consistently utilized for each client and proactively identifying new clients.
• Partner with Advisor as a teammate and collaborate with branch teammates to identify and refer potential affluent prospects.
• Refer and partner with other financial services within U.S. Bank channels, as appropriate.

Job Description

The Wealth Management Banker in the affluent segment is responsible for the overall affluent client experience, ensuring collaboration of relevant entities in order to deliver the full spectrum of U.S. Bank products and services with respect to capabilities and solutions, which includes identification of other experts such as mortgage, small business banking and personal trust services. Responsible for developing, managing, and retaining client relationships for Affluent Wealth Management through proactive contact of assigned and prospective clients.

In this role you will:

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
• Up to three years of experience in Wealth Management private banking or financial services
• Series 6-63 or Series 7-63 licenses

• Basic understanding of Wealth products and offerings
• Basic competency in Financial Planning
• Ability to engage in wealth discussions with clients in order to increase book of business
• Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to make critical decisions independently
• Effective writing, speaking and presentation skills
• Strong knowledge of complex credit
