Masonboro Advisors, an SEC-registered wealth management firm based in Wilmington, North Carolina, is seeking an experienced Wealth Advisor to join our growing team. We work with high-net-worth business owners, individuals, and families, providing comprehensive financial planning, investment management, and tax services.
We’re looking for a self-starter with real industry experience, generally two or more years, who’s motivated to build and grow their own client base with our support. An active Series 65 or 66 is required. A Certified Financial Planner designation is a plus but not required.
This is an entrepreneurial opportunity best suited to someone who wants to grow their own practice with best in class technology, support, and compensation. Compensation is production-based and structured to exceed industry standards. Advisors who bring an existing book of business will find this a strong platform to build from.
Role Description The Wealth Management Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Wilmington, NC. This role is responsible for meeting with clients to understand their financial goals, assessing their current financial situation, and developing tailored wealth management and investment strategies. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and updating financial and retirement plans, analyzing investment portfolios, monitoring market trends, and recommending appropriate financial products and services. The Advisor will prepare and present reports, maintain accurate client records, and ensure ongoing communication and follow-up to support long-term client relationships. The role also involves collaborating with internal team members, staying current on regulatory and industry changes, and participating in business development and client referral activities.
