Job summary

Focus Partners Wealth is seeking motivated students for the Advisory Team Associate Intern (Summer 2027) on our wealth management teams. The ATA intern role provides hands-on experience in financial planning, working closely with Associate Wealth Advisors on drafting plans, meetings, and client communications.

The internship runs June 8 to August 13, 2027 (10 weeks), onsite in Bellevue, WA, with training, mentorship, and potential for a full-time role.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s in financial planning, finance, business or related field; CFP Board Registered Program preferred.
• Strong interest in financial planning and internal operations of a wealth management firm.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and comfortable learning new systems.

Responsibilities

• Support advisory team with financial plan drafting, meeting prep, note-taking, and follow-up in CRM.
• Learn core financial planning concepts, including investments, insurance, taxation, estate planning, and portfolio components.
• Assist with communications, service requests, and cross-team coordination as needed.
