Job Summary

The Wealth Path Wealth Advisor works in a client‑focused, team‑centered environment under the direction of a Managing Director and Wealth Path leadership to support the team’s region‑wide business development and client service efforts.

Essential Job Functions
  • Serve as the primary trusted advisor to a book of 150‑250 Wealth Path clients.
  • Ensure retention of the firm’s clients and grow assets by moving clients from Wealth Path into Custom Wealth.
  • Onboard or transition 10‑50 new clients a year, building a client book of 250.
  • Act as a subject‑matter expert in investments, tax, pension, estate, insurance, and general financial planning for the team's Regional Vice Presidents and Managing Directors.
  • Analyze, draft, edit, deliver, and present financial planning modules to clients.
  • Manage client communications and coordinate with clients’ other advisors.
  • Maintain company standards of client care, including 1 annual meeting, referrals, and retention.
  • Attend company workshops or lectures and speak to potential client groups when called upon.
  • Implement company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (preferably Business, Economics, Accounting, or Finance). Master’s degree a plus.
Experience
  • Five to twenty‑five years of job‑related experience.
Certifications
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. Additional certifications such as Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Personal Financial Specialist (PFS), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Chartered Investment Consultant (CIC) are considered.
  • Specialized expertise (e.g., CPA, PFS, JD, CFA, PhD, MS, MBA, MTx, CDFA, CRPC, MSFS, CIMA, AEF, ChFC, CLU, AIF, CPWA) is preferred but not mandatory.
Job Skills
  • Strong knowledge of investment, finance, insurance, and tax planning concepts.
  • Ability to spend 50% or more of time on Financial Planning.
  • Excellent client focus; high sales aptitude and experience desired.
  • Continuous learning, adaptability, and a positive “can‑do” attitude.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; experience with Salesforce and financial planning software preferred.
  • Technical and analytical training in financial planning.
  • Demonstrated flexibility, versatility, and ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Independent work ability with minimal supervision.
  • Strong confidentiality and flexibility.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time for client meetings and trainings.

Work Schedule

Business hours Monday through Friday.

Working Conditions

Professional office environment; standing and sitting work; assigned workstation. Travel up to 50% of the time for client needs and trainings.

Compensation & Benefits

Total base salary ranges from $85,000 to $145,000 USD, plus an annual bonus and other incentive compensation. A comprehensive benefits package is available, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) contributions, Health Savings Account, short‑ and long‑term disability, and additional benefits that support health and financial well‑being.
