Job summary

UFCU seeks a Wealth Advisor to build and maintain relationships with high-net-worth clients and their families through comprehensive financial planning and progressive investment strategies. You will analyze client financial circumstances, recommend suitable products, and conduct ongoing reviews to ensure objectives are met.

You will drive practice growth through business development, community visibility, and collaboration with credit union leaders, reporting to the Program Manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor-level or higher financial planning knowledge is required or equivalent.
  • FINRA licenses and life/health insurance licenses are required or preferred.
  • Certified Financial Planner designation is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Engages existing clients to deepen relationships and position UFCU as primary provider for investments, banking, and borrowing.
  • Conducts annual reviews and updates financial information to meet client objectives.
  • Develops relationships with families to support continuity of accounts across generations.
  • Advises on investment products and strategies aligned with client goals and tax considerations.
  • Executes purchases/sales as advised and tracks performance against targets.
  • Collaborates with executives and managers to drive business development and cross-sell opportunities.
