Job summary

Canter Wealth in San Diego seeks a qualified CFP® to join our growing team. You will build long-term client relationships, deliver financial plans and investment proposals, and collaborate with our in-house marketing, back office, and advisor teams.

You should excel in Retirement Planning, Tax Planning, and Investments, and be able to analyze complex financial situations and develop clear client recommendations.

Qualifications

• CFP Designation (or currently near completion)
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related field such as finance or business
• Demonstrates analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal skills
• Ability to articulate complex personal finance, investment, insurance, tax, and estate planning topics in laymen terms

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and colleagues to gather data, determine financial goals and develop comprehensive financial plans
• Analyze complex financial situations and determine strategies for meeting clients' financial objectives
• Review clients' assets, liabilities and overall financial conditions to determine whether life changes, economic changes or financial performance indicate a need for plan reassessment
