Job summary

DataAnnotation is seeking a Finance Expert to stress-test AI-built models and trace the three-statement links in real corporate scenarios. You’ll verify assumptions, assess working-capital logic, and ensure sound accounting practices.

You’ll expose where numbers don’t balance, justify defensible judgments, and write clear analyses that convey the reasoning to executives. This is a flexible, remote, project-based role with strong emphasis on practical finance skills.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or strategic finance.
• Fluency with modeling: three-statement builds, DCF, and the accounting behind them.
• Clear written English: your explanations are the training signal.

Job description

Models can build a three-statement model that looks clean and still get the mechanics wrong: a balance sheet that doesn't balance, working capital that flows the wrong way, a circular reference silently zeroed out. Someone has to trace the numbers back through the logic, and that someone is you.

As a Finance Expert you'll evaluate AI-built financial analyses on real corporate scenarios, check the valuation assumptions and the accounting behind them, and write the judgments that teach models what defensible finance work looks like.

Compensation
