Job summary

Hancock Whitney Corp. in Mobile, AL seeks a senior wealth advisor to develop integrated, multi-generational wealth strategies for high net worth clients.

You will lead advisory-based planning and coordinate with wealth partners to deliver comprehensive financial solutions. Reporting to the Private Banking team, you will cultivate client relationships, manage complex estate and investment planning, and represent the bank at civic and industry events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in business, accounting, or finance.
• MBA preferred 10+ years of experience in financial advisement or planning
• Demonstrated understanding of complex estate, investment and financial planning issues for affluent and high net worth clients.
• CFP, JD, or CPA highly preferred
• Highly motivated; Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously
• Excellent sales and interpersonal skills required

Responsibilities

• Drives advisory-based planning process to ensure the delivery of comprehensive wealth management strategies to meet client objectives.
• Act as a resource for client and wealth team members on business succession, executive compensation, wealth transfer and retirement planning issues.
• Engage in the delivery of financial planning services to new and existing high net worth clients
• Works with wealth partners to identify and pursue the acquisition of qualified high net worth clients.
• Collect data necessary for the preparation of financial and estate planning recommendations
• Analyze client financial information and deliver financial advice and appropriate solutions based on client needs
• Partner with clients other advisors (CPA, attorney)
• Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with members of a Relationship Team designated to support client service and client development
• Provides ongoing relationship servicing with current clients to maintain goodwill and identify additional client needs.
• Represent the bank in civic, community, and industry functions to network and develop additional business
• Participate in the on-going improvement and refinement of Private Banking brand, processes, products, services, and operating policies and procedures.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & KNOWLEDGE

• Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines
• Ability to operate related equipment to perform the essential job functions
• Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions

• Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 10 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions.
